Presenting the First Retina Meeting Developed Through the Cooperative Efforts of Optometrists and Retinal Specialists
The Optometric Retina Society along with The Center for Retina and Macular Disease are proud to co-sponsor the first Optometric Retina Symposium to be held at the Disney Yacht and Beach Club Resort, Orlando, from August 26 through August 28, 2011. Participating optometrists will enjoy educational classes about retinal disease, networking activities, and a great exhibit hall experience. This is your chance to showcase your products and services to a captive audience. All of this will occur at the doorstep to the world’s largest playground — Walt Disney World.
Beginning in 2007, it has been the mission of The Center for Retina and Macular Disease to provide a dynamic educational meeting for eye care professionals worldwide, known as the Florida Retina Symposium. Our attendees have represented private practices and top academic institutions from locations such as the United States, Canada, Brazil, Peru, Paraguay, Puerto Rico, and Spain — to name a few.
Optometric Retina Society hosts a similar meeting offering the best in optometric retina speakers and attracting more than 100 attendees annually. This new joint event, The Optometric Retina Symposium will offer a unique program designed to bring a new educational format to the attendees in the form of “quick hit” cutting-edge topics presented in a collaborative style by both ODs and retina specialists.
The Optometric Retina Society and The Center for Retina and Macular Disease understand the importance of educating and encouraging optometrists and retina specialists to join forces in identifying and managing retinal disease. With the support of our sponsors, we are committed to providing a high quality symposium targeted specifically for the optometric community. This sponsorship opportunity allows you to interact with a national and local group of physicians who are at the upper level of optometric eye care. These doctors are looking for cutting edge education along with space age technology and products.
The following pages detail the partnership opportunities and explain your benefits and rights. Please take a moment to read through and consider the level that interests you. Because the opportunities are offered on a first-come-first-served basis, we encourage you to reserve your sponsorship early.
