Beginning in 2007, The Center for Retina and Macular Disease produced an innovative educational meeting…
The Florida Retina Symposium, uniquely developed to address the important role optometrists can play in identifying and managing retinal diseases. The nationally-renowned faculty who established this educational meeting realized the importance of educating optometrists to assist in this specialized arena. With this in mind, they created a high-quality, broad-spectrum professional development event designed specifically for the optometric community.
This unique education is intertwined with many networking opportunities and the opportunity to speak directly with many of the top pharmaceutical and equipment manufacturers in the country.
The popularity and effectiveness of this great symposium has just recently caused CRMD to expand their target audiences to include ophthalmologists. The vision is now a reality which includes two unique annual symposiums under the Retina Symposium brand name.
